TeamPort supports the Project Design approach for teams to collaborate, build digital twins of projects, and rapidly generate a range of project strategies and plans. Model-based project management promotes minimal detail while maximizing dialogue and insights. Chief among model inputs are scope, teams and resources, activities, and the flow of these activities to create product-related deliverables, integrated in a project architecture. By capturing these inputs visually and parametrically, and supported by advanced simulation methods, the project is modeled quickly in a useful, realistic and sustainable form.
TeamPortâ„¢ software is the platform to support these Project Design activities. There are several applications in the collaborative TeamPort platform. Two commonly used applications are:
Forecasts are generated by Simulators based on a project model that is built in Designer. Reports and updating allow a team to maintain the model throughout the project lifespan. New baselines are easily generated when new information or priorities create changes in the project design. Weekly reports with updated forecasts expose issues and the potential impact of risks before they become problems.
