Progress milestones are supported by:

• Project
• Product
• Phase
• Activity

A milestone represents a level of progress on an activity. Progress may be independent of effort due to rework and other factors

To edit an element's milestones, select the Edit button at the bottom of the detail pane. All milestones share these properties:

• Milestones are not required except for creating complex dependencies
• Milestone names are edited in the table. Hint: keep names short
• Milestone progress can be edited in the table or the gold diamonds can be dragged
• If an activity has progress units other than percent the progress units will be shown with percent
• Select New to add a new milestone. A new line in the table will display as highlighted and the milestone will be highlighted in the slider above
• Select a milestone and select Delete to remove it

When complete select the Done button at the bottom of the detail pane
